Spent the weekend with some sniffly kiddos which means I’m doubling down on echinacea this week. This perennial plant has a long history as an immune booster, antiviral aid and anti inflammatory remedy. Plus, she’s a stunner in bouquets.

Fun fact: echinacea is named for the prickly scales on its conical seed head that are said to resemble an angry hedgehog - echinos is Greek for hedgehog 🦔 🙃
